The Congregation of Oblate Sisters of Christ Priest was founded in Madrid in 1938.
La Congregación de HH. Oblatas de Cristo Sacerdote nació en Madrid en 1938.Las Oblatas de Cristo Sacerdote, dentro de esta vocación contemplativa tienen un carisma especial, el carisma que sus fundadores bordaron con sus vidas en la Congregación. La Oblata entrega su vida, se esconde en su celda, en la clausura, para dar vida a toda la Iglesia, pero de una forma especial a los sacerdotes. La Oblata se entrega por los sacerdotes, para que sean santos. Se une a la oración de Jesús: "No ruego que los quites del mundo, sino que los guardes del mal. No son del mundo, como tampoco yo soy del mundo. Santifícalos en tu verdad; tu palabra es verdad."(Jn 17,15-17) Y así, la Congregación de HH.
The Oblate offers her life, hides in her cell, in the cloister, in order to give life to the whole Church, but especially to the priests. The Oblate gives herself for the priests in order for them to be saints. She joins Jesus’ prayer: “I do not ask that you take them out of the world but that you keep them from the evil one. They do not belong to the world any more than I belong to the world. Consecrate them in the truth. Your word is truth.” (Jn 17, 15-17).
